Louis Discenza passed away peacefully at Southlake Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Jacksonville, FL, on November 9, 2011. He was born in Ferrazzano, Campobasso, Italy, in 1915, to Joseph and Nicoletta (DeStefano) Discenza, who brought him to Springfield, MA, the following year. He married Dorothy Leahey in 1940, and was a devoted and loving husband until her death in 2009.
